MUNDUS IURIS INDONESIA

Indonesia-based education platfrom for International law

The Origin Name of Mundus Iuris

The name Mundus Iuris comes from Latin words.
Mundus means world, and Iuris means law.
Together, it reflects our commitment to introducing and exploring the world of law in a way that is open, understandable, and relevant to all.

Our History

Mundus Iuris Indonesia was founded on April 20, 2023 by Yasir Perdana Ritonga, an International Undergraduate Program in Law (IPOLS) graduate from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

Mundus Iuris Indonesia was created to address long-standing challenges in international law education across the country. For many years, the field has been perceived as distant and inaccessible. Learning materials were limited, often available only in English, and rarely presented in a way that speaks to the broader public. As a result, international law was frequently misunderstood, overlooked, or dismissed as irrelevant, despite its crucial influence on global affairs.

Mundus Iuris Indonesia exists to bridge this gap by providing clear, approachable, and comprehensive resources that make international law easier to understand and more accessible for everyone.

Our Ultimate Goal

Over the next decade, we strive to evolve into a notable education center for international law in Indonesia, mirroring the excellence of institutions such as the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies and to contribute meaningfully to the development of international legal literacy in the country.
